Professor Stephen Palmer PhD CPsychol FAC FBACP FIHPE FISMA FRSA
Professor Palmer is Founder Director of the Centre for Coaching, Honorary Professor of Psychology at City University, visiting Professor of Work Based Learning & Stress Management at Middlesex University. He is an award winning Chartered Psychologist, a stress expert and Past Chair of the Coaching Psychology Forum. He was placed in the UK top ten of coaches in an Independent on Sunday, Top Brass article. He edits a number of professional journals including The Coaching Psychologist and has authored or edited 25 books. He demonstrated the benefits of cognitive coaching in his recent BBC 1 television series, The Stress Test.

Professor Cary L Cooper PhD CPsychol FRSA
Professor Cooper is BUPA Professor of Organizational Psychology and Health, Manchester School of Management, Deputy Vice Chancellor, University of Manchester, author of over 80 books and 300 academic articles and editor of several journals, including the International Journal of Management Review. His fellowships include The Royal Society of Medicine and British Psychological Society. He recently published a major report for the EU, ‘Stress Prevention in the Workplace’, and chairs a working group developing standards in stress management training, coaching, mentoring and workplace counselling. He was awarded a CBE in the Queen’s 2001 Birthday Honours List for his contribution to health. |

Dr. Anthony Grant PhD BA (Hons)
Anthony Grant is a Coaching Psychologist. He holds a BA (Hons) in Psychology, a Masters in Behavioural Science and PhD. After commencing his 3rd career as a coaching psychologist, in January 2000, Anthony established the world’s first Coaching Psychology Unit at Sydney University where he is the director. He has co-written and/or co-edited five books on evidence-based coaching and has over 30 coaching –related publications, including the chapter on Solution focused coaching in the AC’s “Excellence in Coaching, the Industry Guide He is also the recent joint winner for Coaching/Mentoring Person of the Year by Coaching at Work in the UK. |
Gladeana McMahon FBACP, FIMS, FAC, FRSA
Gladeana McMahon is Co-director at the Centre for Coaching in London. Accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, she is UKCP and UKRC registered. Her coaching career includes career management, executive coaching and mentoring in both public and private sectors. An internationally published author, she also edits two prestigious journals and writes regularly for a range of publications. Her media work includes Life Coach for GMTV Website and Stress Coach for the Channel 4 website. Gladeana is also a Fellow of the BACP and the Institute of Management Specialists. |

Michael Neenan AdDipREBT
Michael Neenan is an experienced coach, industrial trainer, BABCP accredited cognitive-behavioural therapist, a part-time lecturer at Goldsmiths College, University of London, associate director of the Centre for Stress Management and co-director of the coaching programme at the Centre for Coaching in London. He has published many articles and authored 12 books, including Life Coaching: A Cognitive-Behavioural Approach (2002) with Windy Dryden. He is former Co-chair of the Association for Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy and retains a position on its council. |
Carol Wilson
Carol Wilson is Managing Director of Performance Coach Training in partnership with Sir John Whitmore’s Performance Consultants International. A professional speaker, writer and broadcaster, Carol is Head of Accreditation at the Association for Coaching. With a background at board level in the entertainment industry, she works with organisations advising and implementing strategies to create a coaching culture and provides coach training for individuals in foundation and advanced skills. Nick Thorogood
Nick Thorogood has always taken an active interest in the development of staff both on his team and within the TV industry. Having worked his way up from a junior runner’s role to a senior commissioning role at ITV he is only too aware in this era, how important training and development and coaching can be for a genuine improvement and development of the work force. Having completed his ADP at the London Business School and worked with a number of high profile industry coaches, Nick decided to invest more in the up and coming talent within the TV industry. He was asked to be involved as a member of the Executive Committee of the TVYP – the Edinburgh TV Festival programme specifically for 18-25 year olds. Nick is also a member of the Food Foundation. |
