Association for Coaching, a company limited by guarantee and incorporated and registered in England with company number 4502634 whose registered office is at Golden Cross House, 8 Duncannon Street, London WC2N 4JF, England, (the "Association", "we" or "us") is a community of not-for-profit organisations working in the profession of coaching and is the operator of the website at www.associationforcoaching com (the "Website").
In this Privacy Policy, references to "you" means any person submitting any data to us or to this Website about himself or herself or about any other living individual in respect of any subscription of any local Association for Coaching entity or the company with the name Association for Coaching International Limited (which is registered in England under the company number 6966900) ("Local Associations") or the service made available by the Association through the Website (the "Webservice").
When you subscribe to join a Local Association, or use different aspects of the Website, or if you are a subscriber of a Local Association, we may ask you to supply us with various information about you or anyone who you represent. This Privacy Policy sets out the way in which we may use such information.

Your privacy is very important to you and us. We shall therefore only use your name and other information which relates to you in the manner set out in this Privacy Policy. We will only collect information where it is necessary for us to do so and we will only collect information if it is relevant to our dealings with you.

We need some of that information in order to allow you to go ahead and subscribe to a Local Association, to use the Webservice and to upload material onto the Website. We may also collect information from third parties in order to verify any data that you have supplied to us.
In addition, we may use that information to collect payment from you, to enable you to subsequently use parts of the Website, to detect any fraud or Website abuses, to send you information relevant to the Association, or the Website, in case there is any servicing required and in case we have any queries.
We may also use your email address that you initially submit to us to send you an email with information about the Association and to enable you to commence using the Webservice.
We may use your contact details to respond to you any queries you raise with us.
We may use your contact details to inform you about developments or changes with the Association or the Webservice (including without limitation updates to the Website Terms of Use).
We may email you with your password if you tell us that you have forgotten it.
We may also use your data to send you feedback forms to complete about us or other subscribers, and to contact you over any aspect of the Association, the Webservice or the Website (including, but without limitation, providing support, preventing or investigating prohibited activity, enforcing the Website Terms of Use and verifying information).
We may further collect (or allocate to you and you may change) a username and password to use restricted parts of the Website. We use that to enable you or anyone you represent or who represents you to access your restricted parts on the Website.

By submitting data in respect of you and anyone else, you must ensure that you have full authority and consent to supply us with that data on their behalf and you warrant to us that you have that authority.
Other uses of your personal information
We may also send you other information about us, promotions, further events, our newsletters, anything relating to our business partners or Local Associations, or anything in which you show an interest. If you would prefer not to receive any of this additional information as detailed in this paragraph (or any part of it) please send us an appropriate email to [enquiries@associationforcoaching.com] specifying which information you do not wish to receive. Within 7 working days of receipt of your instruction we will cease to send you information as requested. If your instruction is unclear we will cease to send you all information referred to in this paragraph.
Third Parties and Links
We may pass some of the data about you and the people you represent to other users and post the data on the Website in the manner described in this Privacy Policy and on the Website. We may also pass some of the information you provide to us to Local Associations and subscribers of Local Associations for the purpose of providing you with information about events, forums and seminars being run by Local Associations and their subscribers. However, we shall not be responsible for any use or misuse of that data by any such third party.
We may pass your details to our agents and subcontractors to help us with any of our uses of your data set out in our Privacy Policy. For example, we may use third parties to assist us with providing the administration for running the Website, to assist with the verification facility, to enable us to collect payments from you, to analyse data and to provide us with marketing or customer service assistance.
We may exchange information with third parties for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
We may transfer our databases containing your personal information if we sell our business or part of it.
