The Association for Coaching (AC) has announced details of its second international conference to be held in London on the 24th of March 2006. Coaching is coming of age - busy professionals, managers, CEOs and team players are all looking to be coached to help improve their quality of life and performance at work.
The conference is expected to attract 500 delegates from the UK and around the world all eager to learn about the latest advances in coaching theory and practice.
The one day conference has attracted some of the most prestigious names in the coaching world. This includes keynotes from Professor Cary L. Cooper, PhD, Professor of Organizational Psychology and Health, Lancaster University Management School; Katharine Everett, Director of Change at the BBC, and Ian McDermott, Director of International Teaching Seminars (ITS).
Additionally, the Expert Panel, chaired by Professor Stephen Palmer PhD (author/editor of over 25 books), will consist of Sir John Whitmore, (author of international best-seller “Coaching for Performance”), Gary Browning, (CEO of Penna plc), Philippe Rosinski (author of “Coaching Across Cultures”),Graham Alexander (author, top CEO coach) and Carol Wilson(author, coach trainer, entrepreneur).
According to Katherine Tulpa, Chair of the Association for Coaching and recipient of the 2004 Honorary Award for Influencing the Coaching profession, "Our second annual conference is called 'Leading the Way'. That is precisely what the AC is doing right now - helping to lead the way for the coaching industry to become fully accredited and a highly regarded profession.
