UNPARALLELLED SUCCESS AT THE RECENT ASSOCIATION FOR COACHING CONFERENCE

One of the UK’s leading professional Coaching bodies, the Association for Coaching, recently hosted their groundbreaking Conference, Breaking Through, at the SAS Radisson in London which sold out based upon the high interest it had generated.

The Conference brought together the best in Coaching – aimed at organisations and professionals involved in Coaching - which included top Keynote Addresses, Workshops and Expert Panel discussions from Speakers across the UK and abroad.

Delegates were inspired by the progressive and friendly atmosphere, along with the opportunities to learn, network and share new insights from amongst 350 colleagues in the areas of Corporate, Executive & Personal Coaching.

“The spectacular turn-out, along with the professionalism of this event, shows how far the Association for Coaching has come in the eyes of the industry here,” says Carol Wilson, M.D. of Results Coaching Systems.

The Conference also launched the AC Honorary Awards. Voted for by members, the award for Impacting the Coaching profession was given to Sir John Whitmore, and Katherine Tulpa, Chair & Founder of the Association for Coaching was given the award for Influencing the Coaching profession. Both were given Honorary Life Fellowships.

Professor Stephen Palmer PhD., Honorary President of the AC and recently featured in the BBC TV series “The Stress Test”  gave out the awards, while also receiving  praise for his Keynote Address focusing on a cognitive coaching model of Stress and Performance.

Other features included release of the Association for Coaching’s UK Coaching Rates Survey, as well as the ROI Corporate Coaching report. Gladeana McMahon, one of the UK’s top 10 Coaches and on the Expert Panel, also announced the forthcoming Accreditation scheme.
